Product Description Boysen Lacquer Sanding Sealer B-1254 is a commercial-grade nitrocellulose-based sealer designed for interior wood surfaces such as furniture, store fixtures, cabinets, doors, and panels. It offers excellent sealing and hold-out properties, reducing sanding effort before applying gloss or flat lacquer.
Vehicle Type: Nitrocellulose
Drying Time: Touch dry in 10 minutes; recoat after 1 hour (at 25 °C and 50% RH)
Coverage: Approximately 25–30 m² per 4 L at 0.8–1.0 mil DFT, depending on surface texture and porosity
Tinting: Not allowed–do not tint
Thinning & Cleanup: Use only Boysen Lacquer Thinner B-50 for both thinning and tool cleanup
Packaging: Available in 1 L, 4 L, and 16 L sizes
Application: Spray only; for optimal finish, you may add approximately 10% Boysen Lacquer Flo B-1205 under damp or cold conditions to prevent moisture blushing
